Ford posts 74% sales growth in Saudi Arabia

Ford Middle East has reported a sales growth for its Lincoln and Mercury brands by 74% over the first quarter last year, Saudi Gazette has reported. Led by Fiesta, Fusion and Taurus models, the car maker’s overall sales grew by 54%, while SUV vehicles saw a 104% increase, said Hussein Murad, the company’s director of sales in the Middle East. In the region, sales for Q1 2010 have increased 43% compared with the same period in 2009.
