Dubai World offers ‘shortfall guarantee’
United Arab Emirates: Dubai World has offered creditors a ‘shortfall guarantee’ as part of a repayment plan, Bloomberg has reported, citing a person close to the Dubai government. SBI may extend teaser rates
March 25: The State Bank of India may extend its teaser rates scheme, which offered a loan at just 8 per cent for the first few years. As of now, SBI and some other public sector banks are offering home finance at these teaser rates. Food inflation eases, RBI not impressed yet

Washington: Babies as young as seven months old can discern a voice’s emotional state, suggests a new study.

Bahrain’s Ithmaar Bank plans $400m capital hike

Bharti hopes to seal Zain deal by Mar 25 report
India’s largest mobile services operator Bharti Airtel hopes to conclude the deal to buy Zain’s African assets by March 25 and does not see funding as an issue, its chief said in a newspaper interview today.
