Clinical Performance Manager Job – Business Improvement Services

Reviews, monitors and implements clinical standards by liaising with the Regional Performance Heads across the regions. Performs operations analysis with appropriate follow-up action planning and intervention.

•Participates on assigned committees; promotes effective communication across the department and at PHC regarding standards, collaborative problem-solving, and adequate provision of support services.

•Ensures compliance with clinical standards, regulatory and legal requirements.

•Prepares monthly governance reports for the review of the Performance & Quality Director regarding delivery of patient care.

•Manages and reviews the clinical performance of Health Centres nationwide. Ensures that standards are set, implemented and understood by medical staff at Health Centres.

•Interprets laws, policies, operational procedures, and objectives and translates them into potential measures or policies for clinical performance improvement.

•Collects, analyses, evaluates, monitors and presents clinical management data regarding processes and performance to the Director of Performance and Quality.

•Supervises the implementation of plans following PHC’s corporate strategy, goals, and objectives; monitors on a regular basis progress and accomplishments for service delivery; promotes and coordinates programme development through appropriate planning, analysis, and developmental phases.

•Manages the development of systems and mechanisms to monitor the effectiveness and improvement of quality in the delivery of services.

•Supervises and coordinates programmes and functional activities to promote quality performance improvement.

•Supports, guides and monitors Health Centres so that they evidence clinical standards established by the GCC and the WHO.

•Assists the Director of Performance & Quality Management with the development of annual and monthly performance reports for the Health Centres, reviewing areas for improvement and proposing initiatives.Monitors and evaluates the clinical performance, quality and effectiveness of new services implemented at the Health Centres.

•Ensures the presence and application of statutory assessments and inspections of service outcomes which is collected by Health Centre managers
